Meet the Owners
Jilliana Stopani is a hospitality professional and golf instructor with a passion for growing the game. She graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Hospitality and is currently pursuing her PGA certification. Jilliana has been involved in the golf industry since 2020, gaining experience at Spider Lake Golf Resort in Hayward, Wisconsin, as well as at Ventana Canyon in her hometown of Tucson, Arizona, where she served as an Assistant Golf Professional. Since 2021, she has been teaching at both locations, working with players of all skill levels. At Spider Lake, she is focused on expanding women’s and junior golf programs, helping create a welcoming and engaging environment for all.
Alex Pobloske has been dedicated to the golf industry since 2020, beginning his career as a cart attendant at a local course in Tucson, Arizona. After discovering a passion for golf course maintenance, he went on to work at Dorado Country Club and later advanced to a crew leader position at Ventana Canyon. He is currently pursuing a degree in Agriculture at the University of Arizona, further developing his expertise in agronomy and turf management. Alex has been part of the team at Spider Lake Golf Resort for four seasons and now serves as Superintendent, where he is committed to maintaining exceptional course conditions.
Together, Jilliana and Alex are excited for their first season as owners of Spider Lake Golf Resort. They are passionate about creating a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the guest experience, and growing the game of golf for players of all ages and skill levels. Their shared vision combines hospitality, instruction, and course excellence to build a community both on and off the course.
